it's me, your child. Sometimes it's hard for me to show you how much I love you. I have a hard time understanding things you're asking of me, but the more I think about it, the more your actions made sense . I know you're only trying to help me because you want me to have a better future. You forgave me for a lot when I was younger. Our First Pregnancy
My husband and I found out we were pregnant on April 1, 2021, 4 weeks along! Finally, we are starting a family of our own after trying for a whole year! If we didn't become pregnant then we would have started on medications to help us along. On April 6th, 2021 was our first ultrasound to confirm our pregnancy, YAY! Fast forward to April 23rd, 2021 we had our second ultrasound and got to hear the baby's heartbeat and it was 161 beats per minute, our 3rd ultrasound was May 7th, 2021.

After trying to conceive for over a year, my husband and I were overjoyed to notice 2 pink lines show up on a pregnancy test in June, the day before father's day. Family structures can be connected to the idea of a family tree. The structure is based upon who had breed together to create the family that exists as a whole and tends to continue to grow. Family structures can also be defined by the roles or power each individual has in the lineage. Normally the Grandmother and her husband hold the highest power that gets passed down to their children, eldest to youngest, and they pass it down to their children. I’ve learned hierarchy proves nothing other than age being increased, in my opinion of the black families. Much like other populations, we tend to suffer from single-parent households and poverty. October 17, 2002; I had no idea that the birth of one life could drastically suck the soul out of another. Six-year-old me was overly excited for you to come. I had spent months watching our family prep for your arrival. We had a baby shower, tons of family members over all the time, and lots of shopping... all for you. Now that I think about it, I felt like I was beginning to lose them before you had even arrived. Your mom stopped playing with me. She was sick all of the time. Your dad's focus was all on your mom. Grandma's attention went towards helping your mom and since grandpa didn't have a mind of his own, his focus was wherever grandma's was.
